With Valentine's Day approaching, these are the guidelines to be followed in respect to health and safety measures as outlined by AHS:
- Valentine's cards must be quarantined at the school for 24 hours before an adult distributes the cards to students. Students will not be permitted to hand out their own cards to peers. No cards are to be shared to peers outside of your child's classroom.
- All cards will be put into individual student plastic/paper bags to go home with students on Friday. If cards are to be opened at the school, students are required to sanitize/hand wash before and after.
- If you choose to send a treat, these must be pre-packaged and will be handed out by a staff member.
